D.O. Rueda
D.O. Rueda, in Castilla y León, is Spain’s benchmark region for fresh, vibrant white wines made mainly from Verdejo. Its high‑altitude vineyards and continental climate produce wines with zesty acidity, citrus and fennel notes, and a clean, modern style that works both by the glass and on wine lists.
Pale straw-yellow colour with greenish reflections, indicating youth and freshness. Bright and clean, with excellent clarity. Light viscosity, forming fine, quick tears that reflect its crisp and lively character.
Highly aromatic nose, with notes of citrus fruits such as lemon and grapefruit, combined with white peach and hints of tropical fruit. Characteristic herbal notes, such as fennel and fresh grass, add complexity and define its varietal identity.
Fresh and lively on the palate, with vibrant acidity and a light to medium body. Flavours of citrus and stone fruit are complemented by a distinctive herbal touch. Crisp and refreshing, with a clean, slightly bitter finish typical of Verdejo, adding length and personality.
